Thank you for expressing an interest in the Flagler/Palm Coast area. As President of ERA Palm Coast Homes & Land, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about this small county on the ocean located in North Central Florida.

Flagler/Palm Coast is located between historic St. Augustine and the famous Daytona Beach and NASCAR's Daytona 500. It is 90 miles NE of Orlando and 58 miles south of Jacksonville. There are 3 major state universities within a one and a half hour drive. There is also a Daytona Beach Community College campus located in Palm Coast. The Flagler County school system is one of the best in the state. Test scores are consistently above the state and national average. The local student SAT scores have rated higher than the national average. Medical care is readily available in the Flagler/Palm Coast area, with a new regional hospital just opened in Spring of 2003! Additional hospital facilities are located in Ormond Beach, St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.

Flagler/Palm Coast has over 30 miles of clean beautiful beaches, 30 miles of Intracostal waterway and over 25 miles of salt water canals, all of which are excellent for fishing and boating. Flagler/Palm Coast is home to several marinas where boats of just about any size can be stored. There are also many fresh water canals and lakes that are excellent for fishing.

For other activities there are many golf courses in the county designed by Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, a Jack Nicklaus signature course at Grand Haven and an oceanfront course in Hammock Dunes designed by Tom Fazio. Palm Coast is also home to Tom Gullikson, former Captain of U.S. Davis Cup team, and one of the only tennis clubs in the country that has 16 hard, clay and grass courts. The Palm Coast Players Club is truly a world class destination and is home to many professional and celebrity exhibitions and tournaments.

Flagler/Palm Coast homes are available from the 80's to over $1,000,000 and building lots, with sewer and water, start at $20,000. Oceanfront, salt-water canal lots and golf course fairway lots are some of the most affordable in Florida. The lifestyle, benefits and amenities in Flagler/Palm Coast are within the average person's budget.
